The Aran Style Cardigan can be knitted on a standard gauge Brother/Knit King electronic machine with a garter carriage.

Mock cables are used to give it the Aran effect. The pattern has a large rounded collar and side pockets. The original garment was knitted in Forsell Shamal double knit yarn, which is a mixture of acrylic and wool. Any soft double knit yarn can be substituted.

Templates for the stitch patterns and schematics are included.  The patttern is written for sizes  Small – Medium – Large.
